Hundreds of fans gathered at Atlanta Motor Speedway's Speedway Open House Saturday to get revved up for the track's 2025 racing season, which begins in just four weeks.
Longtime fans and newcomers alike took advantage of the opportunity to explore the massive facility and locate the best seats for next month's Ambetter Health 400 weekend. When they weren't exploring, guests enjoyed games and live entertainment in the speedway's luxurious Club One suite - including a live Q&A and autograph session with defending spring Atlanta race winner Daniel Suárez.
The enthusiasm is no surprise considering the level of excitement that has been delivered by races at AMS since the track was reconfigured three years ago - including the thrilling three-wide photo finish in last year's Ambetter Health 400 won by Suárez.
"Once Atlanta reconfigured the racetrack it has changed completely," said Suárez. "The intensity that we have in the race is unbelievable from start to end. Everything happens so quick and it produces great racing."
Suárez has scored three consecutive finishes of 2nd or better at AMS. He's hoping to keep that streak going when NASCAR's tour visits Georgia for the second race of the season on Feb. 23.
"I'm very excited to come back in 2025 as the last spring winner and looking forward to having another great race."
