Wet weather washed out the season points opener and week three action of The O'Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags & Show-N-Shine, the popular street-style drag racing series and one of the largest organized programs of its kind in the country at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Friday.
The points season will open next Friday, June 8 when the series returns to the pit lane drag strip. Grandstand gates open at 6:30 p.m., and nightly drag race eliminations start just after 9 p.m. The Show-N-Shine car show and track cruise driver's meeting takes place in the garage at 7:30 p.m. and is immediately followed by two laps around the famed high banks of the Speedway.
Entry to drag race or for the Show-N-Shine is just $20 or competitors can purchase a combo ticket for $30. Spectator tickets are just $10, and children 5 and under are free.
