The aspiring drivers of the AMS Legends program will bring the thunder on two nights during NASCAR weekend.
The action kicks off Friday evening with a full slate of Legends racing on Atlanta Motor Speedway's ¼-mile "Thunder Ring" following the day's NASCAR practice sessions on March 13. The night will feature races for all of the AMS Legends divisions as part of its "Furious Five" championship series, bringing a ton of racing thrills for fans to enjoy.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. The top performers in Friday's Legends and Bandoleros races will be invited to return for a special AMS Legends All-Star race on Saturday night, March 14. With qualifying for all three NASCAR series, including the NASCAR Cup Series, plus back-to-back races for the Gander RV & Outdoors NASCAR Truck Series and the XFINITY Series, and now the AMS Legends All-Star race, one of the most valuable racing tickets just got even better.
"This is a win-win for Atlanta Motor Speedway," said AMS Executive Vice President Brandon Hutchison. "Not only do we have the opportunity to highlight the racers in our AMS Legends program, but we also get to give race fans more of what they want: entertainment, thrilling racing, and some of the sport's most talented up and coming racers."
Tickets and camping locations for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway are available now by calling 877-9-AMS-TIX or visiting www.atlantamotorspeedway.com.
