The 2021 edition of Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama Presented by American Force Wheels has been canceled.
The cancelation comes as a result of compounding circumstances that have negatively affected the prospects of hosting Georgia’s Motoring Festival. Complications presented by the COVID pandemic, event staffing challenges and, most recently, weather has altered the paving schedule for the reconfiguration of the 1.54 mile track, each having contributed to the unfortunate cancelation of the event.
“Atlanta Motor Speedway prides itself in producing world class events and Motorama has earned its reputation as one of the Southeast’s greatest weekends for gearheads and families alike,” said AMS Executive Vice President and General Manager Brandon Hutchison. “As time has passed, we’ve been confronted by an increasing number of challenges that prevents us from executing and producing the type of event that everyone has come to expect from Atlanta Motor Speedway. We have unfortunately made the difficult decision to cancel the event.”
Show and swap meet participants who paid to be part of the 2021 show will have their choice to convert their complete purchase into one of the following:
- A ticket to a future Track Cruise (date TBD)
- A donation to Speedway Children’s Charities Atlanta
