Attendees at this weekend's Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama at Atlanta Motor Speedway will be taken back in time with an amazing display of some of the most iconic vehicles in drag racing history.

Fifteen classic drag cars dating from all the way back from the 1920s to as late as the 1960s, will be on display throughout the weekend in the show's Summit Plaza. The dragsters' engines will be fired up twice each day of the show for an audible tribute to their former racing days with "cacklefests" at noon and 3 p.m. Saturday and at 12:15 and 2:15 p.m. Sunday.

Vehicles from the Supercharged AA/Gassers of America will include:

A 1934 Willys Sedan
Two 1933 Willys Coupes
A Henry J
A 1923 Ford Altered
An Anglia Gasser
Vehicles from Southeast Nostalgia Drag Racing will include:

A 1968 Plymouth Barracuda
A Front-engine Dragster
A 1964 Plymouth Savoy
A 1952 Henry J
A 1955 Chevy Gasser
A 1933 Willys Gasser
Also on hand will be a Team Aruba Racing pro stock Mustang owned by Ven Eman as well as Richard Hartman's Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car.

Crews and owners of each of the dragsters will be on hand to chat and answer questions, and show attendees are invited to view and photograph each of the vehicles.

The 4th Annual Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama, Georgia's gigantic motoring festival celebrating anything with an engine, returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway April 22-23, 2017. Spectator admission is just $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6 to 11 and free for children 5 and under.
