The first-ever AMS Baby Chase will take place this weekend prior to the first of two Saturday editions of the Thursday Thunder Legends Series presented by Papa John's Pizza.
Parents of children 18 months or younger are invited to enter their child(ren) into the contest, a cuteness overload taking place on the infield grass prior to this Saturday's Week 9 races. The featured attraction will determine the fastest little crawler in metro Atlanta in a short race to the finish line with a big prize on the line.
The proud parents of the winning baby will be awarded a $100 Kroger gift card to be used toward diapers, formula, groceries, or even that shiny new toy the youngster has been eyeing in the toy aisle.
Participating kids (and their parents) can report to the infield grass area at just after 7 p.m., during the on-track autograph session at this Saturdays races to enter into the contest. There is no extra cost to participate.
Following this Saturday's races, the Thursday Thunder Legends Series presented by Papa John’s Pizza wraps up with its 2017 season finale on Saturday, Aug. 5, as champions will be determined in all racing classes.
Grandstand spectator tickets for the affordable, family-friendly racing series cost just $5, with children ages 5 and younger are admitted free. Gates open at 6 p.m., and feature races begin just after 7:30 p.m.
